i always record flowers in their natural environment, often swaying in a breeze, and never within a lightbox or anything else that changes lighting or dynamics. my stills, then, are never really still. that's why they move me.
Skies
i've dreamed of flying almost all my life, and clouds have a strong attraction for me. the vastness of the plains here in the northern midwest is mirrored by its skies. this is why i have wide-angle lenses!
Winter
variations on the theme of my favorite time of year. snow and ice predominate, some macro, some not. these are where my production techniques really pay off. there are many shades of white.
