synthaetic synapse

Greetings to my site testers, random visitors from my other blogs, and those who found this site via Alex Rabe’s NextGen Gallery site. I appreciate you coming by.

The site is still “under construction” and has not yet been released to the public. Over the next couple of weeks, you’ll see back-dated posts created to announce each digitograph in each Gallery from its original release date. Other pertinent textual content has yet to be completed for each Gallery as well, and I am contemplating adding a fifth Gallery now, although I will probably have to wait on that due simply to the time involved. There are also still a few things to tweak out with this blog theme: it is a wonderful theme, and I love the theme’s designer to death, but it is also relatively “old” and contains some code that doesn’t work well with Wordpress 2.3 that I want to get straightened out. And of course, as some of you already know, I want to drag out some of the old content from the old “Synthaetic Synapse” and “Hidden Light” blogs that would be relevant here and re-post it.

After all that, the site will finally be “live”, and then I’ll be down to tweaking my presence on portfolios.com to match this content and I have to completely redo our online store in madeinsouthdakota.com to match the new business model we’ve placed behind my fine art. All the while juggling deliverables to my wedding clients from the past few months.

In other words, things will have a relatively fluid appearance for a while, but that’s fluid, as in, things will change abruptly all the sudden, then sit for a day or two, then change abruptly again, and so on. After I reach that point of stasis, I hope to make this a more frequently-updated and conversant blog, from which I will discuss my particular way of digitizing the world around me and share some of the stories behind the imagery.
