Artist’s Note: Captured at sunset after three long days of hunting pheasants with my brothers-in-law, this view greeted us as we began to head home for the night. This version has had only one Nik Software filter applied: Cross-Process C04, which deepened the blues and made the orange more vibrant in what I considered to be a very pleasant way. The air in truth was rather hazy and smoky due to the burning of a recently-harvested corn-field, which also contributed significantly the vibrancy of colors in the lower atmosphere.
