Information Regarding Licensing and Purchase of Synthætica Digitography

General Information

Licensure

As the photographer (or in my case, the digitographer) and originator of the artwork, I retain my copyright to all images and their derivatives as published on this web site and via other means. Licensure is typically non-exclusive, never includes copyright, and often is set for a limited duration. As well, licensure never includes agency or any other right to resell prints or other derivatives of the image to the licensee.

Purchase

I am deeply honored by the desire expressed by purchasers to include one of my works in their collections of fine art. Indeed, I am honored that purchasers consider my works to be “fine art”. One of the ways that I tender my thanks to purchasers of my artwork is to limit print editions of each particular version to a small number, so that each purchaser can rest assured that their purchase will not be devalued by future editions of the image. I maintain careful purchase records, detailing the size, format, and mounting of each image, and I ask each original purchaser to inform me of framing and hanging information.
