Artist’s Note: This image, part of the “Shadows of the Evening” version set, is a very muted and intentionally blurred version which juxtaposes the bright clarity of the original and provides a “Monday morning” feel without making the image too dark and brooding.

Artist’s Note: Sometimes, focusing on only a portion of the clouds above my head makes a more striking image than a wide-angle review of the entire skyline. This particular digitograph required some careful maneuvering to capture from a cow pasture. Another example of my black-and-white layering technique to enhance the focal point of the image, this is also representative of the maximum amount of time spent in experimentation to arrive at one version. It was edited across three separate versions of PhotoShop.
