Artist’s Note: This is a scene from right outside our back door. The double tree is a recurring fixture in my digitography, as it was part of what drew my wife and I both to this house. The particular angle of the sun that evening, along with the clarity of the air, helped produce a highly retouchable image, of which other versions are in the works.
