Hello, world! My BBS is located in Brazil. I have recreated a full retro portfolio using Synchronet, including an HTTP page, IRC Server, Dial-up Server, and a BBS accessible via modem. In Brazil, many people don't understand English (which is a big hurdle), so I translated all .msg and .txt files. However, I intentionally avoided PT-BR encoding. In the 80s and 90s, computers in Brazil were imported and their keyboards didn't support the Portuguese layout or special characters like the '‡'.Old DOS and Linux programs were developed without these symbols, and I've reproduced that specific style in my translations. Today, the retro movement in Brazil is awakening a new generation to the pre-internet era. My lab is set up to create video content (currently in development) to share this history with that audience. Thanks for reading my message!

If you could share those translated files, I'd be happy to commit them to the git repo so others could benefit from your work!

    Bem-vindo!

It's cool to see that there is a BBS in Brazil.

    Cool. A couple of observations/questions:

The menu directory appears empty besides a "readme" file - I was hoping to find translations of the default/classic command shell menu files in there.

I was expecting to see a text.ini file with text.dat string translations. Do you have that?

Some of the files you commited to your repo are unchanged (e.g. file.can). Maybe removed the unmodified files to avoid confusion?
